by Darryl Harris

A link to part 1 can be found at the end of this article.

4. Continuing with my tips on finding the best affiliate
marketing networks, try to find a program that is filling
the need for a growing target market. This is a good way to
know there will be a continuous demand for your product. You
can make inquires. One way is to check out the Google trends
site to see if there are any searches on Google for your
niche.

5. Find a program that pays at least 30% commission and it
is better to find one that pays residually. In other words,
one that pays you every month as long as the customer you
signed up stays signed up with them. That way you get paid
more than once for a sale. These are not hard to find and
the research time is well worth spent. You need to be
rewarded for your efforts.

6. Check out if they have any quotas you must fill to get
your commission. You will find some affiliate marketing
networks will have you jumping through hoops before you can
get a check. Just be sure they don't make it impossible to
get a commission.

7. Sign up to programs that offer you lots of help with
tools and resources to help you grow your business in the
shortest time possible. Find affiliate programs with tools
such as a series of emails you can send to leads, banners
and other tools to help make your job easier. Be sure and
check, some programs offer very little in this area.

8. Also, see if the program you want to join has a system
that allows you to check your sales and compensations. It
should be available online so you can look at it anytime on
any computer with an internet connection.

9. A program that offers strong incentives for members to
renew a monthly membership each time. An affiliate marketing
program that has continuous upgrades and easy to contact
customer service have a tendency to hold on to its members.
This helps assure the growth of your networks.

10. You should find out what members are not happy with in a
program. You can simply do a search to find a forum
discussing the product you are thinking about promoting.
Jump right in and ask if what downsides people have come
across. You need to know and there is no harm in asking.

It is a must to have a thorough, intense knowledge of the
affiliate marketing network you intend to be a partner in
your business.

Finding out about the company that is behind a network, that
may be your business partner, will help avoid any future
problems.
